Unfortunately, that's a century or 2 too soon in happening. The 21st century is probably gonna see Europe, Africa, Latin America, etc merge into continental blobs, but it's a bit soon for a world government to take root

Basically what happened was that Novak sold out his beliefs for another chance at getting a calendar slam and the Aus Open sold out for money.

Novak wasn’t going to disclose his vaccine status and that meant he couldn’t play, so him and the Aus Open came up this idea of getting an exemption.

The government wasn’t having it and asked to see the proof of a legitimate medical exemption and this is what happened.

But tbh, this is also very political. Melbourne and it’s state Victoria, is almost certainly going to be a labor landslide this year and the Liberals are trying to play saviour.

What I’ve heard is that Novak and the Aus Open tried to be slick.

The Australian government grants temporary vaccine exemptions to Australians that got COVID in the last few months.

Only Australians can take advantage of this.

Tennis Australia, allows non-Australians and Australians to get vaccine exemptions if they received COVID recently.

So what happened is that Novak got a vaccine exemption through this loophole but the thing is that, it’s enough to let him play but not enough to enter Australia.
