Ancestry DNA isn't even what @Prince of Lasanod is going by for info. It's completely useless for DNA as you said.
But we have more than 1 or 2% Middle Eastern (since it's so old it's from before Arabs as a people existed) DNA. I think it maxes out at about 35%, but it's so incredibly ancient that most DNA tests just include it in the "East African" category.
