I personally don't have any issue with being pro-African. I get what you're saying, but I think it's a little more nuanced than that.
I think it's pan-Africanism that people hold an issue with here. The concept that Africa should become one state, and that we have the same issues. I don't think supporting and helping their fellow Africans is what they hold issue with. Or maybe they're just anti-Africa in general. I'm not totally sure.
And also the fact that they maybe think that Somali issues should come first. For a lot of the people on Twitter it's ajnabis first, foreign issues that their lives revolve around. This can take the form of BLM being all their life revolves around, or "appropriating" AA culture.
