The Abbasids were the most successful caliphate and at there Golden age had debates between atheist's, Christians, "philosophers", and Muslims. Even up to the time of Ibn Taymiyyah he debated philosophers, Christians, and atheist's. The idea of "Sharia" imposing men to grow long beards and women to wear jilbaabs is a fabricated notion and a myth!! Even in Rome which was the richest city in the world, the average person didn't have access to clothes that could precisely reach the ankle and cover most skin let alone be able to cover your hair and face. Yes, you can say how human implemented the deen doesn't mean that it is the correct way! I'd agree but this doesn't give you the authority to say, "that's bidah go to jail" , or, "That haircut is haram". Like come on, are we going to follow the deen at gun point or are we going to implement what Allah (SWAT) said ,"There is no compulsion in religion".
Not Ruling by "Sharia" isn't Kufr!!! Nor is it Haram!!

BTW the verse that Allah said, " whosoever rules by something not sent down by Allah is a kafir". That is true but did Allah say coach people on the deen at gun point?? That's were we draw the line from umaahataan wasadh to a umaahat al khaarij. Ruling by sharia is also implementing it on your own the correct way not forcing down your incorrect interpretation to others. Look at Afghanistan for an example, The Taliban forced all women to wear burqaas which isn't sharia and banned them from working and school which is worse. What happens when these girls come to the west, they think it's jannah and leave Islam!! That is why we need to go back to the golden age of justice tolerance and knowledge in which we didn't force our different opinions on each other.

Ibn Saud had more than 4 wives and he still supported him rebel against the Caliphate!! This lead to the sack of Mecca in the 20th century and the formation of the modern Saudi state. This state has invested almost billions in "Dawah" and "Jihad", but of course the worldly life doesn't matter so they have been hamulating us by portraying us like animals in their Media. They've even take our daughters as comfort women. Yet you believe it's "guidance" the want you to achieve? It's what I call dominance! They need us to be extremists so that we keep killing each other like what they've done in Yemen. This Dawah is a scam!!!
