Laaska has been pretty quiet for the past couple of years and people all over Somaliland, although struggling, can at least live safe and secure although corruption is a huge problem

What is isaaq stand alone population in Somalia. Allocating seats is typically based on population. So why should you have 50/50 power sharing, when the south is at least 4/5 greater in population?
Honestly I believe my leader should be a nationalistic person, who loves his country and is not a sell out. I don't mind if he is hawiye, dir or darood. I love all Somalis and it hurts me when I see petty division and the backwardness of some people. Most of us are living in the diaspora. Let's fund raise, build schools and hospitals, and love one another without finding anything that can cause tension between us. For unity and brotherhood

SL is a multi-qabiil state and is not geared towards any qabiil even though Isaaq are the majority. If anything, non-Isaaqs are in some cases even overrepresented in order to be politically correct. Meanwhile in Somalia, you can't even be president unless you're Daarood or Hawiye.
Acoording to these two sources right here Isaaqs are the second largest tribe by population after Hawiye, accounting for 22% of the population:
If we add in the remaining tribes, we'd easily surpass 35% of the population, more than a third, however our representation is completely shit to the point where South-West state, which has barely existed for 10 years, has more seats than us, the people who started this union and gave up our independence for f*ck's sake.
As you know, in 1960 two Somali administrations decided to merge and the hope was that they would both be equally treated, as was the hope for the entire north and all its clans. Being annexed by the south is not something we agreed to or had in our minds and if we knew the outcome, we wouldn't come near that cursed union that caused nothing but poverty and discrimination for us.
Since we gave up our newly gotten independence in favor of uniting with our brothers in the south, and since we were under vastly different systems and administrations, we should therefore have more representation and autonomy, but as shown again and again, the south doesn't give a f*ck and therefore neither shall we.
