London is shit and nothing compared to muqdisho. Im absolutely sick of the crowding in central london :ivers:and the ugly big red buses :susp:

Nice homes with a neutral colour tone to suit it's coastal environment.

Would love to see similar homes like that in 40c+ Berbera!

But on a srs note, some recent regeneration projects of historical sites such as the Millennia old Arba Rucun masjid have been shamelessly turkified with its ottoman influences (iznic tiles).

Historical revisionism and cultural appropriation could follow suit. Hell even a so-called cadaan expert on Somali affairs, Mary harper, stated this in her blog:

On the beachfront in Mogadishu is the oldest mosque in the city, known as Abdul Aziz. I have been told it was built in the eleventh century by the Ottomans. It has been wrecked by war and neglect. This is what is left of the minaret:

Wtf? This bimbo doesn't even know that the ottoman empire hadn't even existed in the 11th century!!!
