State building takes time especially after a brutal civil war that caused a total collapse of state insitutions and with no foreign help with rebuilding until Turkey arrived in 2011. It took Italy and France over 100 years to complete their state building process and during that time they were in a state of civil war. Even after WW2, European states had billions of dollars injected by the US under the Marshall plan to accelerate stabilization and rebuilding. China was also in a similar situation that we are in today where various ethnic groups and clans controlled different parts of china and were warring against each other for decades. If you couldnt get ictiraf when Somalia was at its lowest, why do you think you can now that the SNM regime has a much weaker case today.
Syria and Iraq have a steady stream of oil revenue, thats the big advantage oil producing Arab states have always had when it comes to rebuilding. FGS had to rely on diaspora and private sector to help fund infrastructure projects and devopment. Its not the same.

I agree with some points but why did their people come together to rebuild in a third of the time its taken Somalia, also is the SNM regime really weaker today, barring skirmishes on the far east the overwhelming majority of SL'ers still want to seperate regardless, talks will need to happen with them, they also dont want to unite with the South either though this is a key distinction that needs to be made.
