ppl probably will just vote on qabiil lines at the end of the day tho, a real competitive race will happen in Xamar (will be tuned in for that)

People arent electing the president directly like in the US, they scrapped that after HSM tried to do some shady stuff

Its going to be a multi party system, people would vote directly for political parties, not individual MPs as before, and each party would then receive parliamentary seats proportional to their share of the national vote, the party (or coalition) with a majority in parliament would then choose or nominate the president, most European countries also use this system

also I dont think the parties are that diverse, most will be made up of hawiyes, the first elections will probably be an improvised mess with most people voting at random
