Larger Mudug towns like Abudwalk and Galkayo are considered to have pagan origins cause of their names. I'm wondering why these types of monuments have not been recorded earlier.

We have so much stuff to discover in Somalia, it's unbelievable.
Some archeologists before the war described northern somali tombs and cairns as evidence of complex civilisations.Unfortunately archeological research in somalia is almost non existent except for Sada Mire.
