It’s more like you’ll never truly be a superstar if you try to make it in Canada. There’s just not a lot of opportunities. Before drake I can’t even name a Canadian rapper. What if drake never got famous? No Weeknd or other Canadian artists he put on and absolutely nobody would pay attention to anything going on in Toronto. The only reason people do is because drake shines a light on it. And to even be able to do a lot of that he had to come to America to get some credibility in the game and really make it to the top.
