From what i've heard, there aren't that many somalis in New york, and very few people associate that community with New york anyway. There prob exists a small community there, but then again you'll find a small community of somalis anywhere, even bumfuck nowhere in someplace like Chile.

This was an ethncitiy statistics tho I saw a lot of countries unknown yet didn't see somalis. I don't know why people can't accept there isn't a somali population in nyc, students, taxi drivers and models aren't included.
