This flag is from the black standard of Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and it still incorporates the Somali star.

It's the best of both worlds.

A true Jihad for a Somali at this point is to cure the tribal disease that afflicts Somalis and their religion. That is the real struggle Somalis are dealing with. We have no business hating on others and need to fix our own house first.
