Utterly delusional. The vast majority of the livestock in the region are long dead due to the drought. The nomadic livestock herders are destitute, living in camps and on the brink of starvation and these politicians have the audacity to tell us they found a new market for the nomads to export their xoolo. And your solution is a total livestock ban on export it won't help poverty-stricken nomads in the cities but make it worse

We have seen how hundreds of thousands of drought intolerant livestock heads (goat, sheep) perished without being export duo to livestock ban to the point camel meat price (drought resistant animal) have plummet below that of fish meat in Burco! New market will offer more security and option for remaining livestock herders and can in fact be a driving force in pulling their immediate family members from poverty.

At the end of the day, average Geeljire knows better when to sell or keep his livestock and has the last say in exporting xoolo, to suggest anything else is nothing short of preposterous.
