Its not because the ccp was smart or the Chinese ppl did anything special. Now that the wage has increased, European, American, S Korean, Japanese companies are moving their factories to India, Vietnam, Mexico, Indonesia. China tried to become like Japan or South Korea where they make their own products like Hwawei but recent nano chip blockade to those companies by Trump has shown that their technology is at least 10 years behind that of the US, S Korea, Japan, etc. And their gdp numbers are highly inflated by artificial overspending usually in the form of real estate hence so many ghost cities in China and crisis such as Evergrande. People who dont know the truth keep touting that China will be the next super power... please give me a break. Whats more likely to happen is that China will break into many countries in the near future. Its not sustainable.

Humanity will fall into another dark ages for about 500 years and then rebuild itself for another 300 years and perhaps then it can become multiplanetary.

In all seriousness, I have heard similar ideas floating around. I don't subscribe to the view that the highly educated represent the majority of human intellectual potentiality. Goes back to the Bell Curve bullshit where they're trying to peddle the idea that people who have access to educational privileges, riches, and all that is characterized as socioeconomically superior, are mainly because of genetic force and not pliable human potential in the context of a favorable environment. Even if there is a minor truth to that claim, which hasn't been proven through any serious literature, things are never that simple.

With that said, it is a fact that the sophisticated systems require human capital, and that depends on how well the system itself, incentivizes people to get educated in the relevant fields to overcome modern problems.

I'm married to what I do atm. But either you or @The alchemist can help humanity by donating to my fund. I take cryptos, precious metals and land (on teraferma). I don't think those predictions apply to East Asians though, from what I know their societies are some of the most Atheistic in the World [although they do appreciate/love their cultural heritage/folk religions].

Taking into account the increase in the religious demographic of the West [Europe & the Americas], I think it's safe to say the East Asians will be at the forefront of technological advancement & surpass the West.
