Every single successfull society has gone through some form of ethnic and or cultural replacement (Chinese, Greek etc.)
Countries that have remained ethnically homogeneous throughout history indicates regression

I’d say Japan is a successful society that’s ethnically homogenous with its own distinct culture, I don’t think they’re a regressed people.

Chinese were a major influence to them
While Japanese culture has been influenced by Chinese culture throughout its history, it is also distinct and has developed its own unique identity. Japan has a long history of borrowing from and adapting foreign influences, including Chinese culture, but it has also taken those influences and made them its own.

One of the key differences between Japanese and Chinese culture is the emphasis on individualism vs. collectivism. Japanese culture places a greater emphasis on individual autonomy and personal expression than Chinese culture, which tends to prioritize group harmony and social order. This difference can be seen in many aspects of Japanese society, including its art, literature, and social norms.

Another important difference between the two cultures is their respective religions. While both Japan and China have been influenced by Buddhism and Taoism, Japan has also developed its own indigenous religion, Shinto, which emphasizes a deep connection to nature and the spirits that inhabit it. Chinese culture, on the other hand, has been shaped more by Confucianism, which emphasizes social order and hierarchy.

Overall, while there are certainly similarities between Japanese and Chinese culture, each has its own unique characteristics and identity. Japanese culture is distinct from Chinese culture and should be appreciated on its own terms.

What makes Gamal Abdul Nassir a native ruler and Amr Ibn Al-As رضي الله عنه non-native? both of them spoke Arabic and identified themselves as Arabs.

Amr Ibn Al As is a qureishi from Mecca, Abdul Nassir im guessing is an arabized Egyptian like most Egyptians are today but who knows

Real Egyptians probably in the South or hidden

this is what jamal abdelnasser wikipedia says. take it with a grain of salt.
وهو من أسرة صعيدية عربية قحطانية
He is from a Saeedi Arab Qahtani family
in this context: saeedi = from upper egypt.

Real Egyptians were wiped out completely and practically raped many times in history by different invading armies. Egypt was the Harem & Brothel for many foreign generals to enter. Gamal Abdelnasser is a product of the Arab conquest

japan got 90% of their culture from china

their writing system, art, weaponry, literature, aesthetics, and government structure all came from or was inspired by the chinese

If japan hadn't undergone kawaiification after WW2 and china hadn't become communist, they would both share very similar culture, similar to portugal and spain.
