A 17 year old going to a shisha spot should not be a death sentence. A better question is why does an adult (20 year old) have beef with children and be willing to murder them over it?

Idk, when this happened a year ago, there was plenty of teachers/coaches speaking glowingly of the kid. That doesn’t typically happen with a poorly-raised kid or one that has a history of being reckless.


It’s not unheard of to see/hear of 17-year olds disobeying parent’s curfew/rules on a Saturday night. This isn’t a Somali specific issue, kids of all backgrounds do it. What is a Somali-issue is that a teenager breaking a curfew can result in a murder.

One-set of parents deserves far more criticism.

It's not normal for children to be out at hookah lounges at midnight. Yes kids disobey but for little shit, if I was out that late I would have 125 miss calls and threatening texts from both my parents and they would be driving throughout the city looking for me. Not to mention anyone who I even had any sort of communication with would be getting a phone call. By that time they would have found out where I was and dragged me into their car. God knows that would be the last time I would ever leave the house for anything other than school.
