People who think that Arabs "destroyed the Ottoman Caliphate" are wrong. Yes there were some Arabs who fought against them but there were also Arabs who fought with them and they were allies like the emirate of Jabal shammar and other Arabs. It's not fair to blame all Arabs and Arabs only for the collapse of the Ottoman empire.

One could argue that Turks "destroyed the Caliphate" because there was a coup by The Young Turks against Sultan Abdulhamid who wanted to regain the lost lands and rebuild the empire. It was also The Young Turks who overthrew Abdulhamid and dragged the Ottomans into ww1 leading to the collapse of the empire.

For those who don't know who The Young Turks were, they were a secular political party who didn't like Islamic law. They were the once who overthrew the Sultan and dragged the ummah into dumb wars that the Ottomans had nothing to do with.

Anyways, we should stop blaming each other and unite as an ummah again. Blaming each other doesn't do anything other then further divide us. Knowing about the fitnah that goes on in my lifetime I don't think there would be a strong Caliph again but Allah knows best.

yeah, the coup by turks was in 1923,

arabs were being armed by french and british since 1885 by the al-sauds and by 1905 it got bigger and by 1910s and ww1 it got worse, more money, weapons, divded by brtiish and french to attack turks across arabia and then the white man colonised them afterwards , the turks warned them,

the arabs betrayed the turks decades before,
