Do you seriously want the proxy war in Yemen extended to Somalia? Having both UAE and Iran in Somalia at the same time will cause havoc. Which sounds just as bad as those who’re willing to entertain letting Egypt set up bases in Somalia while Ethiopians maintain their presence here.
I hope y’all aren’t intentionally aspiring to start new foreign wars on Somali soil, the way Iraq have become for US and Iran to military settle their issues

It's not about just giving sea access, but more so of letting conflicting countries have physical presence in Somalia outside of regular diplomatic relations. Especially from a conflict next door, which will somehow find its way to Somalia.
Evicting UAE will be an impossible task in itself. But it were to happen and Somalia finds mutual beneficial relations, without interfering our main partners, I don't necessary see any big issue.
