Can you guys stop generalizing ex Muslims???
I don’t see the harm in me generalising because this is the general characteristic. Ex-Muslims generally speaking coon to white people/ people from the western world/liberals/whatever group they convert to🤷‍♂️. They put down their people and portray them as lesser beings in order to be considered as “one of the good ones” or to compensate for the background they come from so they can feel like they are enough/different.

Western philosophy and its fandom among forgeiners is a cancer. Not all modernity is good but they think it is

The chinese perfected marriage between their indigenous beliefs and customs with modernity (maoism) non western people can learn from them
they’d never, people of nasriins stature like to stick their noses up in perceived superiority complexes over conceptualizing western philosophy which that in itself is mediocre at best

Ever notice how often Somalis are mentioned on TikTok even without prompting?

They need to explain why we look the way we do, and will make up endless folktales about it.

This is how they sound:
Only the true Somalians have 4C and praise Waaq. Somalis are hiding them and only showing their mixed ones with loose hair or light skin. The 4C ones are uncorrupted by the foreign influences of religion and genetic perms from A-rabs.
Then you respond:
Somalis were among the early adopters of Islam and embraced it out of conviction, not coercion. The Horn of Africa has had exposure to Abrahamic faiths for a very long time. Islam first arrived in the region through the Hijaz in the 7th century when some of the earliest Muslims fled persecution. Before that, Christianity had reached the area in the 4th century CE during the reign of King Ezana of Axum, who converted after being taught by Frumentius, a freed slave of (Lebanese/Syrian) origin.

Somali hair texture variations have existed for thousands of years, if not longer. And are independent of foreign introgression. Also, you do realize Africa’s climate is constantly changing. Populations can’t be expected to stay the same. Hair textures can vary from wavy to curly to afro-textured as an adaptation, and it’s even suggested that earlier Africans had looser hair. Additionally, the Shum Laka foragers from Cameroon had coloured eyes despite being from West-Central Africa. Certain traits develop in non-linear ways.
Them:
Sadly, many prefer a revisionist history stripped of nuance. Rooted in anti-Somali sentiment, Islamophobia, and a phenotypical Afrocentric supremacy which creates a hierarchy of Africaness with Horners deemed less authentic yet conveniently fetishized when it suits.

Truly hope so. One would have to be a complete fool to not see what’s happening here. The blatant jealousy. The hypocrisy. The psychological warfare. So happy to see more of my sisters waking up to the reality that we’re dealing with some master manipulators who want to drag us down into the pits with them. Especially the younger sisters who are often oblivious to how much others envy them for their beauty. Their creativity and effortless charm. Even putting aside looks, just look at how we have the most random ethnicities doing baati parties. Years after Somali girls showcased their beautiful baatis in fun way.
I agree 💯 there is psychological warfare being waged online against Somalis by all types of ajanabi groups it’s been happening for years now especially since after the pandemic glad more people are waking up to reality
