Did anyone else find this video by Nasriin weird?
It’s full of weird lies and our ajanabi haters in the comments are pretending we all have 4c hair and that they’ve never seen a lightskin Somali (a shameless lie). Many of them view having type 4 hair as a negative so they’re trying to neg us by saying most of us have type 4 hair even tho this isn’t true. I’m not sure why she’s going after accounts that showcase Somali beauty esp considering that they post a diverse range of skin tones and hair types. It feels like she’s mad at something that isn’t an issue.
There’s nothing wrong with being having 4c hair but I don’t understand how someone who is literally lightskin with loose textured hair can post an entire video of lies? Her whole shtick is strange considering she posts videos defending all kinda groups but when it comes to her own she’s saying qashin like “we don’t have long hair” and sounds indistinguishable from the incels she complains about. Like the average Somali woman has long hair. Nasriin herself doesn’t have short hair. I think she’s taking out her family trauma onto unrelated Somalis and projecting.
She’s very “woke” and is pandering to ajanabis to the point that she’s coming up with crazy ass lies…”do they only let lightskin somalis immigrate” kulaha like nobody has ever said that, if anything the stereotype is that most of us are darkskin which is why ajanabis in her comments are acting like lightskin somalis don’t exist. Ajanabis seem to think we have hidden away somalis with 4c hair & banned them from immigrating or posting online like they’re determined to believe that we can’t have type 3 hair on average and seem to be mad that we do. I don’t understand this as they would obviously see Somalis irl and note our hair texture and hair length but I don’t expect much from hateful losers. I did expect better from Nasriin tho.

The edit pages she’s talking about post beautiful Somalis, male and female, of all skin tones and very rarely post mixed people so I don’t understand the comments about Maya Jama. I have never seen anyone call her the standard, ever. If anything the standard is Ladan Farah who goes viral all the time and is regularly featured on somali edit pages as well as ajanabi edit pages because she’s so beautiful.
