This will mean that as the 10000 Somali forces are defending jigjiga bravely, 18000 Somali forces will come from the bushes and mountains near jigjiga to flank the Ethiopians and this will deal a decisive blow.
Ethiopian tanks and artillery will be captured and re-painted while the planes will be burned.

Now as the 9000 elite brave soldiers keep fighting the Ethiopians the 28000 strong Somali force will take this opportunity to capture many central and southern villages and towns and as the Ethiopians breakthrough the defenses of the 9000 men the 28000 strong somali force will come from behind and butcher the s.

We can then use the same tactics to match to diridhaba and secure it and we can also go all the way to Harar.

Weapons like that are hard to smuggle in and the arms embargo in Somalia ensures that none is owned by forces in mainland Somalia..Forget getting within Ethiopian.

Otherwise Al Shabaab would've had access to them already.

Just assume we're stuck with ak-47's, butter knifes and some cold war artillery stolen from our old government back in the civil war.

Maybe if we last a few weeks; the Egyptians or Sudanis would throw us a couple of those manpads.

We don't have trained people that can handle anti aircraft missiles (under 60) even if we had them.

Air power will never decide who wins a war however, the Somalis region is outmatched in equipment and manpower. The best thing to do is to drown the Ethiopians with gorilla style warfare and hurt their supply lines, have it so that it costs more to win the war than to simply lose. They have to fight on our terms.
