Idk how i forgot Madvillainy, it's a great album. I love section 80 too, but I don't wanna come across as a Kendrick stan. The Cool is a good album.

I like a Tribe called quest too - their 2016 album 'We got it from here...Thank you 4 your service' is awesome.

I'll check out the following albums: Mos Def and Talib Kweli are blackstar, Man on the moon, 36 chambers, and the college dropout

Thanks for the recommendations!

Lol you are right, wasn't sure which Kendrick album to choose, section 80 holds the most sentimental value for me personally. Similarly, for many of the artists listed their albums could be easily interchanged here, I'm a fan of a large part of their discographies.
Tribes 2016 album was really good, they did a great job of keeping their essence while modernizing the sound

100%. I value consistency, and Kendrick's discography is insane. I love all his work, but GKMD is my fave, because it made me a hip hop fan. TPAB is probably his best work speaking objectively. DAMN is amazing, but I personally prefer TPAB and GKMD.

I love a good album. Loads of artists make dope singles, but only really talented artists make great albums.

I need to listen to more classic hip hop - the likes of Public enemy and Wu-Tang Clan.

I don't listen to modern rap. The golden age from late 80s till 2010 is long gone. I mean u will never see classics like this in modern day mumble rap crap.

I've not heard of Earl in a long, long time. I always thought he was one of the more talented artists in odd future. I'll listen to his albums for sure.

Watch the throne is a fun album, good shout. Thanks for the recommendations!

My beautiful dark twisted fantasy, the greatest rap album ever made
It's Kanye's best album imo. I love it too, it's full of bangers, production's great, it has good features, and the album's concept still makes sense.

I personally prefer a concept albums such as GKMD ; which is basically a nonlinear film. Every song is like a scene, and the album comes together perfectly. The singles are ok, but the album is superb.

I think it comes down to personal taste tbh, but MBDTF is a good shout.
