They have been mainly liberating towns in lower Shabeele region from El Kabob. Biggest city freed by them this year was Merca.

Yub 230 isn't alot still, but I'm confident they will increase the salary next year too because of all the extra taxes coming form all states. Hopefully it gets up to 500$ in the coming years.

All this tax money taken from xamar but theres whole roads that were either flooded or collapsed because of the recent heavy rainfalls, some water sits on roads so long that it stinks up the whole area. So much tax taken with no services provided, nothing commendable about this increase if the money is not used to solve problems like simple infrastructure.

Wallahi having a good sewer system is very expensive, and they have it under construction. Sad thing about the flooding is that preventing it would have been much cheaper than the rescue and helping efforts
