Observation: I personally believe that the only reason why a majority of Somalis vote left/Democrat is for benefits. Everything is about traditional Somali culture is the complete opposite to western liberalism. My theory on why welfare fraud/tax evasion is common is because our superiority complex can’t handle with the feelings of whites’ taking care of me out of pity because I’m not smart enough to survive on my own. My own personal experience with it and my father’s accounts, it’s done out of spite. My dad did welfare fraud and fraudulent racial discrimination lawsuits, but work as well.
Observation 2: I noticed that leftist or sjw Somalis are different from other black and minority sjws. It’s a lot easier to have a debate with a Somali sjws vs an African American one. I think it’s because our culture is very combative and competitive. Also, from what I’ve seen, Somalis with fully leftist values end up miserable. All the Somalis and Berbers in my family that went full westernized and embrace black American liberals culture are major f*ck ups. I think the liberal ideology clashed with our culture and then it develops into being self hate. They start saying that the culture is backwards. The other major difference is that most liberal Somali still don’t like Obama . Ilhan Omar, even said Obama should tried for war crimes.
Questions: I’ve noticed that Ilhan Omar doesn’t really try to cater to African Americans that much . Kamela Harris and Obama are mixed but have way more appear to the African American community. Why do you think that is ?
