It's more out of interest that I asked to see if others think think the same. I'm not planning on having my mom's opinion influence my decision which I've already made but I feel bad for her since I'm the oldest and it doesn't seem my siblings are planning on marrying any time soon

One thing i dont get about Somalis honestly how do you marry someone you only knew for a few months??? They treat marriage like a high school relationship, the worst is those who bring kids into it straight away

Individuals that aren’t mentally well, lack the funds to raise/sustain a family, or simply those that don’t want to get married. If you don’t want to get married, suit yourself. I think it’s better than dragging an innocent person into a half-assed marriage that you cannot fully embrace.
