Islam brings me more joy. Every time I do a good deed I nearly cry with happiness that Allah loves me more for it. My dad hasn't missed a prayer since his childhood and he's the happiest person I know and he never gets angry.

Good for you, truly. From personal experience though devout Christians seem much more jolly and at peace compared to devout Muslims.

I think devout Muslims think they'll go to hell for the slightest thing while forgetting how Merciful Allah is. Christians have less rules to follow and are therefore less worried about Hell making their lives easier. I've met some miserable Christians like Jehovas Witnesses who also obsess about punishment.

That's right, that's it. There's a great emphasis on punishment in Islam, that would make anyone uneasy lol. Christians just need to believe and not worry much beyond that. That's probably why they seem so happy all the time.

There's a lot of hell in the bible but Christian preachers are very good at making Christianity easy to follow and even joyful to follow. I wish Sheikhs would remind Muslims that Allah is Merciful and kind, God's mercy is repeated more times in the Quran than the bible but Muslims are rarely reminded of that.

Yeah the fact that they believe he died for your sins is kind of comforting but loses all meaning when you discover original sin and that even though he died for your sins you can still go to Hell.

I blame Sheikhs for misrepresenting Allah's word. Allah starts all but one surah with how he is Merciful and repeats that often. Also the Quran says you can repent countless times after sinning countless times, you only go to Hell if you don't repent.

Have you heard of the evangelicals in the US? They are the most miserable group of people in history. They've been obsessing about how irreligious/non-Christian Obama and Clinton were and managed to elect an atheist that grabs people by the pussy. Loathsome people.
