I used to have birthdays when I was young its not against the religion

Birthdays are not a religious thing but a cultural and societal thing

Birthday celebrations is bidcah traditions. That can't be compared to cars and phones. Everyone knows celebrating it is haram. You want it to be halal so you can make the cake
