My family is getting bullied

We have some family overseas who we send money to when they are in need.

For example an emergency surgery etc.

Recently my mother found her lost cousin in the south of somalia. She gets supported from her husband's family in the states who send $200 USD a month.

But my mother decided to ask me to give her $100 to send to her cousin because she has never sent money to her, I was like okay just this one time.

Then on the exact same say another family calls from Dijibouti, then another one calls the following day from Ethiopia.

This happens every month....THEY ALL CALL AT THE SAME TIME !!!

I don't know if they plan it together ?
But I'm honestly annoyed at my mother , she needs to stop sending money to these grown ups , who chew green leaves and sleep and drink coke.

The females have their own shops and herd sheep and camels so I don't know why they need us to send money , when we are suffering in the UK !


I'm not being selfish , they are stopping my family from establishing ourselves .

I already told my mother if she or my father pass away , my cousin's and aunties in Africa, their welfare payments from us will stop immediately and I'll change my name and my number so they can't find me.

Well is this every month? Are you really struggling that much for boqol dollar? If you earn over $2,000+ or even $1,000+. I would genuinely give to ppl who need as many people in Somali don’t have much oppurtunity. If you don’t have just tell them your circumstance, I understand the frustration but alhamdulilah for everything in life. Some people in my fam can be weird back home I wished an Eid Mubarak to my cousin and she started telling me about where her stuff was that I gifted her and the money which were all in transit. . From that day I just ignore her just ignore those who done you wrong I’m not your atm. I’m not your motherfor you to treat me like that

My mother is too loyal it's hard for her to cut her family like that. She will pick up her phone the second time they call her.

Well is this every month? Are you really struggling that much for boqol dollar? If you earn over $2,000+ or even $1,000+. I would genuinely give to ppl who need as many people in Somali don’t have much oppurtunity. If you don’t have just tell them your circumstance, I understand the frustration but alhamdulilah for everything in life. Islam you help everyone in need. You have to want for you bro/sister what you want for yourself. That’s your family not random poor ppl. You can just say no if you are unable to give it’s really not it to call them leeches. 1k a month I was talking about but if you are struggling student, tell them your circumstance. Times are tough during this pandemic I understand
