Nice thing about Eyl is that it has plenty of groundwater. Very good location for a city.

No water no Life. Water is the most important resource or that place is uninhabitable. Farms need water, livestock need water, people need water, u take this away, that place will be 'lama degaan'. No water simply cannot support LIFE. That's why their lookin 4 water in space even as a 'sign' of life. @Thegoodshepherd I study a-lot around 'water' technologies, different sources, etc.
Their is a reason why all civilizations are found next to a 'river' like egypt, iraq, india, china, etc, very 'few' buck this 'trend' untill they establish a 'water' source and why some desert kingdoms, mountain kingdoms, etc exist. Even Somali saying says 'nafta biyo, noolasha cano'. Naf means LIFE. Water is life, Where-as living is milk. U can't reach the stage of 'living' without 'life' first
