Tendon injuries are much better than full muscle tears.

That's what most gym injuries are.

How does a bicep tear during a deadlift?

I thought it wasnt even activated

If your core is weak and your glutes aren't activated then your eccentric portion is basically just you slowly dropping a shit ton of weight with just you lower back and arms.

Basically shit form plus ego lifting.
