Wasn't just Africa. Happened a fair amount in Asia too. I think there's some evidence that even some pre-Christain cadaans were fairly comfortable with it.

All human males were evolved to be sexually attracted to breast. Cultures can have some effect on how you view sexuality but the way our brains evolved would always be the same

there was a point where breasts were sexual, but they slowly and slwly got desensitized jsut like the west. In Islams past, If a man were to see a womans calf or full arm or hair they would feel like they commitd a crime, now u can see a woman who only covers her nipples and private part and feel absolutely nothing bc of the desenstiizatio
