I saw a video like this where a father forgave his son's killer. Is this allowed in islam? What gave these parents the right to forgive the murderer?? Because if it was me in that grave I sure as hell would be pissed if I find they're embracing arms with a killer

I think it's paid for both intentional and unintentional. But this nigga is a gaal so he aint paying shit
I see, so he should get sentenced to death?
Do you mean that gaal people are not supposed to pay it, only muslims have to pay diya?

We need a sheikh in the thread who can explain this to us.

I could never. Her son deserves justice and this man should've been held accountable if it was intentional.

Coddling a murderer :gucciwhat:

Why would a kafir pay diyah? The whole point is to expiate for sins. I think @Boqor is a sheikh. Maybe he can explain

You see if the christian is willing to pay and has the money he must pay it but if he doesnt have the money or intention to pay up then it says in the quran that he must be sentenced to death

What is your view on the Muslim mom's action? Can one still be forgiven without having payed diyah?

Also isn't it quite unfair if one doesn't have money and they get sentenced to death because of that? Meanwhile, another murderer has money and gets away with it?
Could you please provide the ayah you are referring to?

Unfair to whom? The murderer?
In Islam it's up to the family or the person who survived as to how they will be compensated for their loss.
They can get blood money, ask for an eye for an eye, or forgive.

Thanks for the explanation, the family is the one who decides the faith of the murderer and the criminal has no say in it.
It sucks to be broke then, you are more likely to survive if you are rich.:cosbyhmm:

You can either forgive the killer or get compensation or seek revenge that's why
