Ethiopia has no interest in defeating Shabaab. That’s our biggest issue. I’m surprised you still think these guys are going to finally deal with Shabaab given they’re actually been the longest fighting force and made Shabaab into the power it is today with their Xamar invasion.

The fufu eaters are also want their mushaar so are ineffective but at least there isn’t any political incentive like there is with Ethiopia for Shabaab to always exist. They’ll always have a route into Somalia and excuse to violate our sovereignty.

The thing with Kenya is they’re only bordering one state. Ethiopia is also constantly politically interfering in all the states. But I agree both are bad because both have potlicial interest. The one’s people see as worse is the one against their clan interest lol

Ugandans, Burundis, Djiboutis are less problematic. They have little if any influence in political affairs of Somalia and have less incentive to see a constantly warring Somalia but they do all have monetary benefit to AMISOM funding.

Listen dude you’re a cool guy and you are right to say we supported MX for decades in JL. I personally do not think us Cayr should’ve even bothered to stay in JL after the civil war was over. It only made sense when there was a threat of an invasion from the South.

But what I am saying is OG are now in Villa Somalia and can pursue their own interests. And MJs are no longer a threat to HAG. They are too occupied by SL taking harti land and GM is created and they’ve accepted it. Plus Mudug has a frozen border now. No Somali patriot will support secession, Hamza Barre if he’s successful has a strong chance of being President. He should focus on finishing Shabaab this term and we shall see.
