HSM requested money from Uganda but museveni turned down the request. He probably know the money will not reach the soldiers on the ground fighting al shabab.

He’s not very diplomatic so it comes across like he’s saying no to a request for donor support but you have to mentally retarded to think HSM will be asking for Uganda to cover salaries of 3k troops when the UAE have already agreed to pay for them and that is why they were sent to Uganda for training paid for by that same UAE

yeah, Lavrov is enough though. He is the mastermind behind Russia's successful foreign policy. Russia just did debt forgiveness for a lot of African nations. All Russia and China want for the most part is for countries to vote with them when it comes to UN voting, they don't care for how you run your country, unlike the West who forces you to pass LGBTQ laws or other BS in order to get a loan..

Russia had a surplus of sales from exporting this year too, 20-30 billion dollars is nothing to them. For comparison the IMF is giving Somalia a loan of 1 billion this year but won't forgive it. Our foreign policy is dedicated by the West, hopefully we have a president who isn't a slave to the West soon.

1 billion dollar loan that Hassan will steal. Meaning he won't use it for infrastructure plans, which means no economic growth and no hope in hell of repaying the loan nevermind the interest.

So after 5 years of HSM we will be back to where we started with the debt.

But this time we will have no port, no factories and no highways to show for it.
