You can do both. Xamar allows you to make a lot of money, Murusade have many rich businesses in Xamar that can invest in Ceelbuur and their other lands in goboloda dhexe.

I think you should visit xamar again today. Mogadishu 2023 is nowhere near the same as 1999. Hell there is even a drastic difference between the city 2015 and now let alone 23 years ago. Your average citizen doesn’t care about clan and power sharing. Everyone hustles and goes to education or work and the city is booming with city life. The days of warlords, clan green line and isqabqabsi is gone although people still prefer to live in their clan stronghold neighbourhoods.

Good advice. I agree the HG are reinvesting in GM from whatever they make in xamar. Unfortunately both Abgaal and Mursade have all their eggs in one basket and need to build their ancestral clan homelands. Too focused on xamar is unhealthy

They need to learn the art of 'risk/reward' the long-term rewards vs short term rewards. Yes they can get short-term rewards by being in hamar, but they need to allocate lots of eggs to 'long term reward' like el-bur so their kids do not cry in 100 years why awooweyashooda didn't plan anything for them. They then need 'weigh up' risk profile of centralizing in hamar vs federalizing. PL has done this long-time ago.
