I dislike how many Somali people who make it onto television somehow always play the “I am poor and a refugee from Somalia so I need this money” card. Can’t you just say that you’re in need of the money Muna? What relevance does your country have? There is a whole Black American there who is probably the grandson of a slave, but you don’t see him talking about how his people were systematically disadvantaged and thus he needs the money.
