In the midst of this global pandemic, Puntland lost one of its founding father. A former minister in the civil government, longest serving Somali ambassador to the EU, and a founding father of Puntland.

He was one of the signatories of the Manifesto paper. He also joined SSDF and had the honour to lead the North East Somalia administration, the predecessor of Puntland. The Northeastern regions had an effective administration since 1992, but was cemented with centralised temporarily leadership in 1994 with amb. Dhigic-Dhigic as our leader

Following the failure of the Congress and the split in the SSDF, General Mohamed Abshir’s faction nominated an ex-ambassador, Mohamed Omar Jama ‘Dhigic-Dhigic’, on 3 October 1994 as the head of a nonpolitical administration for northeast regions. He was tasked with the establishment of a North East Somalia
State (NES), envisaged to be one of several states forming a future National Federation of Somalia. Detailed plans were put in place for institution building but foundered because of the unresolved divisions within the SSDF.

Where's the breathing neef @DR OSMAN who once said that the people who founded Puntland were not elite? Dhigic-Dhigic was
-A member of the parliament in 1960
-Minister of planning
-Minister industries and economy
-Ambassador to the EU
-Ambassador to France
-Director of the Somali National Bank

Can there be anyone with a more impressive cv? I'm waiting for your reply @DR OSMAN . I don't forget certain comments, when it comes to politics, I am very vindictive, vengeance ridden commentator.

Whenever I read the biography of the people that were present in the state formation of Puntland, which lasted 7 years, it reaffirms that PL was built upon very strong foundations. Mind you that Dhigic-Dhigic was appointed as interim leader, waliyul ahd , for the northeast as early as 1994. This was a temporary solution because of the internal power struggles within the SSDF.

I'm not surprised. He signed the historical manifesto in the last eighties. Farmaajo is a nepotism beneficiary, he dislikes everyone that opposed his aabo.

The hundreds that perish in beled-gaajo befit his tacsi. As for Kheyre, who needs the tacsi of a 0.5 laangaab.
