Yh I’m aware but it does increase the incentive of at least being in the vicinity of Parliament.

House of Commons have whips who force attendance but the Somali Parliament doesn’t really have a political party and whip culture

I think its the former, many have already flew to Turkey and UAE. I wonder what the constitution says about lack of quorum every single session? This is very bad

Not sure I see the connection you are seeing. How is the government responsible for how parliament functions - by definition the two branches are distinct and independent of each-other, surely?

Hmm... that also seems like a stretch to be fair.

To me it seems most likely a product of these guys being accountable to no-one. They got paid already by different candidates, and have no concerns about anyone being able to do anything about them not coming back yet.
