Do you see yourself moving back home permanently ?



I’d see myself moving permanently to Somalia, i believe we all have a responsibility towards our country after the previous generations completely messed it up.

Also not claiming reer England anymore

Tbh, the diaspora is a lost cause. They should stay in their host nations and progress in their lives there. Imagine if all these ciyaal diaspora return to Somalia bringing with them degeneracy, western liberal culture, low life thugs, ghetto culture etc? How about the established ones ? The ones that can actually bring about change. The other day heard a story about this guy who killed his wife then fled to Somalia and you can’t forget about all the gang members who are sent back for ‘dhaqan celis’.

I believe they shouldn't have citizenship until certain conditions are fulfilled. If those conditions are not possible to put into effect then there should be a special type of residence visa for diaspora Somalis but not citizenship. If highly qualified good mannered diasporas migrate back, they should get citizenship in 20 years.

I came up with these immigration rules from the top of my head. I hope our immigration policy is similar or even better. I certainly believe there should be strict conditions on diasporas returning. I don't want to risk our society becoming degenerate. Hooyos and abos born in Somalia should get citizenship if they want without any strict conditions.

I wouldn't mind returning back to my country under strict conditions since I'm a diaspora myself. It's good for the greater good of Somali society when you think about it.

Why tf would I go back there? I’m down to continue to send remittance, visit often, and learn about history. Vacation sure.

When I meant returning back or strict immigration policy in my post, that should only happen when Somalis get's it together, Exploit oil and our natural resource and when we become economically sufficient.

Yeah I wouldn’t like random diasporas running back for oil handouts knowing they contributed nothing to the process. I like the idea of being forced to drop other passports to become a citizen
