I walk by my local fish shop in the mall every day and the prices r astounding it's not bananas or cheap veggies, this shit sells for 30 a kilo which is the cheapest stuff not the 'fish'.

What the supplier pricing is, will be an interesting research against their 'expenses' such as 'labor, fuel, location, storage, transport'

If the supplier is going to shitty Somalia and getting a jamal to sign off it's location rights for $10 million, while the lowest marine product is $30 by the kilo once it hit the market. All we need to factor in is the 'supplier value chain and expenses' in-between. I think they can pay off that measly location rate within '1 week worth of trawlling' and 51 weeks is just nothing but full margin profits.

He signed licenses for 31 vessels to China for $40,000-50,000.

This is around the $1m deal rumoured.

China should build us a road like the Nairobi express then we can give them fishing license
