The reason why they're being sent there is obvious the govt most likely made a deal with Qatar (give me money and train my troops I'll send some of them to fight in Libya) the only thing I don't understand is why didn't they take the deal UAE offered them it's pretty similar only difference is they'd get full control of Socotra on top of money and training
