The same Ethiopians who claim Ahmad Gurey is Somali? Also, who could be hiding our history in Somalia? Ethiopians don't own any part of it lol. Overall Somali history is way more than just Harar. In fact, I bet there are more hidden manuscripts and texts in Mogadishu and other Benadiri cities than in Harar. Unfortunately, the civil war has done far more damage to Somali histography and archeology than Ethiopia ever did.

When the hell did I say that??????
“Every ethnic group has better history than Somalia”

Those are literally your words then you turn around and scream about Ethiopians stealing our history lmao please stop forgetting to take your meds

That was an exaggerated statement, I was wondering why we never had a gigantic empire which spanned large land like the Ottamans

Somalis sprouted from Adal and that's were most of the civilization and warfare was taking place, Mogadishu civilization was mostly on the coast
That's why they stole the books in Harar, that's where the majority of Somali history is

Somalis won't do arhcaelogy right now so that's useless

Majority? Harar was founded in the 16th century and most Somalis weren't living in Hararghe.

Harar was founded in the 13th century, there was Ifat and Shewa which had many Somalis, notice how Mogadishu only became mighty in the 1200's, Somalis sprouted from the north and Hawiye is 1000 years old, so your ancestors lived there
Adal were the military powerhouse where all the knowledge was, beautiful cities like Harar, Zeila and Berbera and many colonies

Don't believe that cap bs, Harar was purely Somali pre 1800's and was even called Berbera due to this, according to travelers they were purely Somalis, historians even say that the modern Hararis are not the original ones
Hararis are a mix of Habesha ethnic groups who came as traders and took over the city when Somalis fled, Oromos and Somalis with some Harla

Ifat sultanate did many great things and was one of the larger power houses in Africa, Adal was the most powerful, if only you knew the great things they done

Somalis played no role in the establishment of the Adal and Ifat kingdoms. The ruling elite of those two kingdoms primarily consisted of Semetic-speaking groups. Somalis entered strategic towns in the north, such as Zeila, after the collapse of the Adal Sultanate. Nomads are not a settled population. They are a migratory group of people. They are constantly on the move in search of pasture and water.

Umar ibn Dunya Hawz was descended from Yusuf Barakhadle who was Somali

How were other ethnic groups able to preserve their manuscripts and other historical documents, but Somalis weren't? You can't use the whole Civil War excuse because the Banadiri people preserved all their manuscripts showing the first tribes to have lived in Mogadishu since its founding. The Banadiri people were affected the most during the civil war.
