Wait.......Dr. Osman "supports" or at least is neutral or leaning on the Siyaad Barre topic?
Another day another suprise.
Oh that makes a lot more sense. I have seen your development threads and they are quite interesting especially the policies you would enact and related issues, keep up the good work.Compared to HAG and 91, I love Siyad Barre. The world clearly respected us under him not HAG now or ever
@DR OSMAN I am beginning to agree on a lot of things with you sxb.
I do not like Siyaad and i hate having to defend him but we have to set the record straight. They refer to Siyaad as a gaal however, under him the most mosques in Somali history were along with Islamic schools were built under him and farm land was not taking from people like in other socialist states. The Somali written language, governance and many other cultural aspects were established under him. Somali culture was promoted. Music and other forms of entertaining like riwayad/theater and art were state funded. Somalia was on it's way to be food self sufficient and export economy and had over 100+ working warshados across the country to locally produce everything from sugar to shoes to clothing. Even this Indhacade guy admits that the factories in Balcad and the dams are still there in disrepair.
Anyways, why are these types so fixated on Siyaad (a dead man)? His problem was an obsession with power and brutal rule.. but these guys brought hell on Earth to Somalia. They were the same ones cutting up Daroods with manchettes in Xamar right? Melting down infrastructure and pipes to sell for profit to the UAE and Kenya. This single image describes everything. The day Somalia died.

I believe the car accident exacerbated his paranoia. He started becoming paranoid after the coup attempt from MJ soldiers, then he aligned himself entirely with Issaq and use them to attack Mudug, they prisoned wells This is why a lot of MJ's do not care for him and why some Daroods have mixed feelings about him. Even some MX's dislike him as he never did anything for Gedo but was focusing on Xamar and other parts. He built one of the largest export farms for livestock in Burco which was destroyed by habar-wars in 94'I agree with this after the car crash, he should've started the electoral process to elect someone new. If he had done that no doubt he would have a statue in Xamar today.
It's not comparison at all, not even close. The efficiency of a state like that will NEVER happen again. Wallahi this "issue" could've been fixed so easily after Siyaad was ousted but we all know what happened. He even argued we have beautiful private market today, when in reality it's black market rackets, second hand used shit, no quality, not even the 'water'. Comparin that to manufacturing economy that employs thousands of ppl, what does a 'shop' employ no-one in somalia.
My people are better off today than they were under the loser kaafir Siad who tried to change verses of the Holy Quran. We dont miss him, thank god he died on foreign soil humiliated and bitter just like the pathetic Beerlaawe. And I hope the autistic loser from Buffalo follows suit.@Rationale
Kulaha Siyad massacred MJ. Kulaha Siyad govt was bad. If Siyad was bad why was Somalis the strongest nation, good social services, good infrastructure, no refugees. Sayin u Somali meant something in africa n mid-east.
When his moryan ass came in 91 Indhacade till now we are the scum of the world, all fleeing for sponsorship.
It's karbash time I wish I was interviewing him this interviewer is too nice.

Everything Indhaccade said was right except his whitewashing of the Shabaab wing in the Maxaakiims. He was tricked and should accept that.
Somalia’s private sector actually improved in the 90s despite the many wars across the country. There was none to speak of before and I can honestly say somalia is in a better position today than under Kacaan.
