He applied to be a member in the EU, claiming Moroccans have more in common with Europeans than Africans, therefore, they belong to Europe. EU rejected his application and claims.

That being said, Morocco is a stable country compare to Somalia, so we aren't in a position to criticize anyone. We chose "leaders" who steal food aid donated by the international community to Somalia's millions of hungry people.
