No they aren't

. Most of these skinny hoopers are only eating at maintenance level or below. I even knew guys growing up that rarely ate 3 meals a day. They would either eat 2 meals or 1 big meal with only a few snacks.

I've grown up around tons of African Americans and west Africans. I've met plenty that were skinny, skinny fat, and just fat in general. Like 99% of the in shape black people I met growing up either played basketball or football on an organized team. The football players in school were usually ripped, buff, of just big in general. Plenty of hoods all across America are filled with skinny malnourished or fat madow kids.
I don't know why you guys think it takes longer for Somalis to get in shape. Madows aren't building insane physiques after being in the gym for only 2 months unless they spent time building muscle over the years prior to losing fat. They gotta be in the gym for 2 years+ like everyone else. Some madow guys literally have a head start on this simply because they start working out as teenagers. Some cadaan kids are the same as well hence why you can find 16 year old white and black kids squatting 400+ on TikTok.
This somalis are natural skinny stereotype needs to die. Everyone starts off skinny. A lot of Somali kids just weren't fed well enough growing up. It's a bigger problem for the ones living back home. Also we didn't have a proper fitness culture in our community until recently. Somali parents didn't care for raising athletic kids like some of these madow and cadaan families.
