I wasn’t a major supporter before but his stand against the qabyalad and traitorous Farmajo in my opinion earned the respect of Ogadens everywhere.
My reasons as to why he must stay is the fact that Gareens for JL from xamar is a precedent we cant accept. You don’t realize Farmajo is not staying for long the SNA having control whilst the president in Xamar picks the leaders of JL is detrimental to our development as a state.
We will not be tied to Xamar because Moalimu wants to be president, do you really want JL to be a drone state for Xamar what has Farmajo done for Gedo to warrant such trust?

Ok I understand your point especially God it seems to no matter who takes the throne in Xamar they hostile to JL Xasan Sheikh proved that Sharif opposed the Kenyan backed operation to capture Kismaayo but politics aside after Kenyan/RKB capture of Lower Jubba there was a war with SFG/ Barre it didn't last long Madoobe and the Addis accord was signed. He enjoyed relative freedom and no interference from SFG maybe up until last year but he hasn't done any tangible achievements for JL state even prior to that much is the same since 2013 security wise,development wise is JL always going to be on defense from external enemies when are we going to see progress Madoobe had 8 years why would he change now? What? Kismayo is one of the safest cities in Somalia. As for areas outside of it they may fall within his control but it is very difficult to keep AS out of the baadiyo as it is perfect grounds for guerilla war.
Madoobe isn’t perfect but he is necessary compared to the alternative(puppet leaders from xamar). Madoobe is leaving and another will replace him in a few years destroying the state is no answer.

It seems there is no other alternative to resolve the Jubbaland issue but war. Let it be but if Marehan lose again and Farmaajo is removed from power, I wonder what they will come to the negotiation table with? I no big fan of Madoobe but removing him by force is not an option either.
Jubbaland needs to move forward not backward. Modoobe has Puntland support for recognizing the truthful owners of the city reason why Mayor and port is controlled by Harti. Even if he tried to changed that he would not be in power for over a month. Marehans from Gedo think they own Kismayo which is laughable never has worked nor will it ever. Let's see what happens it's interesting times for sure.
