More evidence for coastal red sea trade of somali origin

So if any of you guys remebr I talked about how the afar obsidian from the 4th millennium found in eygpt was likley of costal orgin . But there was no definite proof of this obsidian reaching eygpt by sea. But I found this paper published a couple years ago which shows that obsidian from the afar region was found on the eygptian red sea port of mersa gwaiss from the 2nd millennium b.c

You guys can guess the implications right ? We now have definitive proof of afar obsidian reaching eygt by the red sea. Mersa gwaiss is also only 35 miles away from the wadi hammat quesair port i mentioned

Arguably what's even more intresting is that eygptian-mesomptian trade also began in the 4th millennium b.c

This is one of the oldest object's found with signs of mespotomian influence and its orginally from abydos

Abydos is also on this coastal red sea trade route

Although these guys dont want to seem to accept the implications. So they say that even though there is no evidence for the land route they still claim it was done by land in the 4th millennium b.c

That's a 12-hour walk, averaging 3km/hr or if they sailed at the speed of 5-knot it would take about 4 hours.
