The urban planning is there, It's evident through the streets and public parks.
nah when you look at moqadishu the roads are out of place and bumpy there's no side walks. The city isn't structured well outside of some public parks.
The damn flies, huge and goes into the food and ppls faces, no tap water safe water to drink, only plastic bottles that taste like shit. And then don’t forget the garbage, literally garbage everywhere, like India it’s filthy. I’m glad I got out when I could.
Most of the current urban planning was inherited from the Siad Barre days.
There is no city master plan - just a competition over land and developing into high rise apartments or hotels. No consideration of traffic with the bajaajs and increase in population. Mogadishu is the fastest growing city in Africa.
No adequate public services.
Garowe is the only city that appears to be taking planning seriously from my observations.
They're already developing that. You guys need to keep up with the times
I cant find anything about this, perhaps you can help us out? I've only seen Garowe developing a modern sewage system.
