nah when you look at moqadishu the roads are out of place and bumpy there's no side walks. The city isn't structured well outside of some public parks.

Sewage and a proper national grid is needed as well as planting trees

Most of the current urban planning was inherited from the Siad Barre days.

There is no city master plan - just a competition over land and developing into high rise apartments or hotels. No consideration of traffic with the bajaajs and increase in population. Mogadishu is the fastest growing city in Africa.

No adequate public services.

Garowe is the only city that appears to be taking planning seriously from my observations.
