I was in Mogadishu last year. Trust me when i say it is ShitHole

You were in a poor neighborhood. The area I stayed at had nice roads, hotels, ATM machines and restaurants everywhere. Not to mention 24hr running water unlike Hargeisa.

It’s not just Mogadishu ppl there is mistrust, xaasidnimo and corruption. The rule of government is a foreign concept to Somalis which is why they are struggling to implement it instead of providing security and comfort each tribal state wants to enrich itself at the cost of the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people. The injustice that occurs in that land is why it will not succeed. You can’t built on stolen land and the blood of the innocent.


To add, you’re part of that problem. You use your position as MOD to highlight every negative aspect about Somaliland and you do this to advance your clan interest. There is no constructive criticism, no positive feedback, just pure unadulterated hatred. This is the case with those from Puntland, Jubbaland etc. No objectivity among a diaspora group who were born and brought up outside of Somalia. None of you are nationalists or care about the future of that country only your tribal villages which you continually boast about. The same tribal villages with no running water. Please don’t pretend.

why would each state enriching itself be a bad thing? your not making any logical sense as each state bettering and enriching their region is in the intreats of the nation, by caring about our regions were intern bettering our nation as proper nationalists, and your here talking about running water in a post about mogadishu which not only has and always had it but you hail from a hargeysa that dosent

There is foreign meddling. The leadership all carry foreign passports and just want to collect a paycheck. Trust me when I tell you can not trust any pharmacy and even hospitals except a few. Human life is ganacsi and the people lack mercy and no sense of a nation state.

Only people who fear Allah swt can overturn the situation in Somaliwayn
